The first 3 days we saw only clounds and rain - day and night! We were getting worried! However our last days we've seen blue skies and had our "sunshine" fix!! We've loved your home Ingrid: the beds - dreamy! The lights around the gazebo were a hit ... (we want some...!). Thank you for the fishing rod .. no bites! We also really enjoyed all the different bird songs... especially the kookaburras and the resident cockatoos in the hollow tree! Loved all your palms... I'm jealous!!! Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise...

We have had a great time staying here.  For first time visitors to the area, we couldn't of asked for anything better.  The house is extremely comfortable and has everything you could possibly need, including a pool to cool off in.  Two minutes to the beach, 5 minutes to the bus stop for regular service into Cairns and close by shops.  We shall definitely be returning when next in the area.  Many thanks Ingrid!

Ingrid, my family and I can't thank you enough for the beautiful home. The finishing touches are excellent and you have thought of everything that a visitor would need in order to relax completely. WE WERE WANT FOR NOTHING.....

Gardens are lovely and pool got used a lot!! The duplex is big enough for a family to have quality time but also individual time!!

We would not look elsewhere when travelling to Cairns. Thanks again Ingrid!!

We've really enjoyed our stay here - such a beautiful location.  We particularly liked the spacious garden - little Zoe loved lining the wooden elephants up and having someone count them, plus the grass between her toes.  (We've come from Melbourne's frosty winder!)  We hope to return this way again for a longer stay.  All the best.

Very nice stay and good to have the pool to jump into as not used to the hot sticky weather but getting to be better at it now its time to go [Owner note:  this is the weather in the tropics at this time of year, not all year around - use the Weather button on this page and read about Cairns weather patterns for your intended stay]. Hope we decorated the xmas tree alright for you.

What a nice place to vacation. This house has it all and then some. Leave your worries behind and relax. The weather could have been nicer but can't blame that on anything but the time of year. [Owner note: this is actually the best time of year for the tropical north but unfortunately this family had some bad luck with the weather!]

Nice owner answers ANY question, always there to help and with a kind answer. Great, clean house with good temperature and a good look to it, all makes you wish your plane didn't leave so soon.

Tropical Oasis indeed!  Arrived at this place very early in the morning way before designated check in time, the owner was willing to let us check in and met us at the house. Upon entering, we were met with a very well maintained, beautiful house. The little details she had gone out of her way to include in the house made our entire family wish we could just move in and stay forever. The location is great, close to the beach, a few pubs and the local grocery store.  Is near a bus line if you don't have a car, and well outside of the hustle and bustle of Cairns. Which you may or may not want to visit, considering the house itself is private, fully furnished with internet, tv and plenty of seating spaces outdoors to enjoy the Cairns sunshine, (which we had very little of, but KNOW that if the homeowner could have changed this, she would have!) I'd recommend this to my friends and steer my enemies elsewhere!  All in all it was one of the highlights of our six week visit in Australia.

Just to say how much Ann and I enjoyed our stay at your house at Trinity Beach this month. It turned out to be a perfect holiday, with good weather, great location and superb accommodation! We made good use of the pool with the temp being around 29 degrees each day.  Bit of a shock coming home to temperatures between 10 and 15 degrees!  Our grateful thanks,
