We had great weather and fun exploring
all the varied activities here in Cairns. The
highlight staying here was the pool. The kids were in
it several times a day, even in the dark! A

Thanks for
making our first stay fantastic in Australia. What a
beautiful house and surrounding. Home from home. The
garden is so relaxing and really lovely to sit in and even
just to chill out. There was everything in the house,
there was nothing we needed. Thank you Ingrid for all
your help you really thought of everything
We would like to suggest if booking any
tours
Ingrid is the best person, so organised. The tours
were amazing - Kuranda Sky Rail and Train, Daintree/Cape
Tribulation, Cairns Night Zoo. Location of house is
great, buses great, shops and of course, Trinity Beach.
We would really recommend this beautiful house.

Thank you for
providing the ideal location for us to spend our honeymoon.
We enjoyed having the privacy of our own place but still
having easy access to the beach and local shops and
restaurants. We had the perfect mix of being close to
Cairns, Atherton Tablelands, Port Douglas, Mossman Gorge,
etc, to do some of the touristy things as well as having days
of beach walks and relaxation. Thanks for the tip on
the Passions of Paradise reef cruise as well, that was
fantastic and well worth it.
We wouldn't
hesitate to recommend it to anyone heading up this way, and
hopefully we might even return one day ourselves.

Thank you for
a fantastic week! The pool is great (although slightly
cold at this time of year!), the spa is wonderful and the
general ambience you have created with
candles/seating/lighting, etc, has meant we have had a
wonderfully relaxing week. The house is a great base
to come back to and we have wanted for nothing.

We've all had a great time here. It was
relaxing to be here in warm "sunny state". Our
trips to the Kuranda jungle park by Skyrail and train were
wonderful, and the Great Barrier Reef was unforgettable.
Your house is beautiful and especially Julia-girl enjoyed

Had a great stay, pool a dream to come home
to after 29-33 degree (celsius) temps. The little touches
made the unit. A couple of handles on the outside of the
garage and kitchen doors would help but otherwise very good.
A "must visit" is the Undara Lava Tubes - worth
the travel and money, just fantastic.

Very relaxing and enjoyable stay. The homely
feel away from the Cairns hustle and bustle, but within
reach of touristy places like the reef or Kuranda made it
for us.The self contained aspect is great with a spa to
unwind to at the end of the day. Well done, we'd recommend
to others!

The first 3 days we saw only clounds and
rain - day and night! We were getting worried! However our
last days we've seen blue skies and had our "sunshine"
fix!! We've loved your home Ingrid: the beds - dreamy! The
lights around the gazebo were a hit ... (we want some...!).
Thank you for the fishing rod .. no bites! We also really
enjoyed all the different bird songs... especially the kookaburras
and the resident cockatoos in the hollow tree! Loved all
your palms... I'm jealous!!! Thank you for sharing your
piece of paradise...

We have had a great time staying here.
For first time visitors to the area, we couldn't of asked
for anything better. The house is extremely comfortable
and has everything you could possibly need, including a
pool to cool off in. Two minutes to the beach, 5 minutes
to the bus stop for regular service into Cairns and close
by shops. We shall definitely be returning when next

Ingrid, my family and I can't thank you
enough for the beautiful home. The finishing touches are
excellent and you have thought of everything that a visitor
would need in order to relax completely. WE WERE WANT FOR
NOTHING.....
Gardens are lovely and pool got used a lot!!
The duplex is big enough for a family to have quality time
but also individual time!!
We would not look elsewhere when travelling

We've really enjoyed our stay here - such a beautiful
location. We particularly liked the spacious garden -
little Zoe loved lining the wooden elephants up and having
someone count them, plus the grass between her toes.
(We've come from Melbourne's frosty winder!) We hope
to return this way again for a longer stay. All the

and good to have the pool to jump into as not used to the
hot sticky weather but getting to be better at it now its

What a nice
place to vacation. This house has it all and then some.
Leave your worries behind and relax. The weather could have
been nicer but can't blame that on anything but the time of
year. [Owner note: this is actually the best time of year
for the tropical north but unfortunately this family had
some bad luck with the weather!]
Nice owner answers ANY question, always there to help and with a kind answer. Great, clean house with good temperature and a good look to it, all makes you wish your plane didn't leave so soon.
Tropical Oasis
indeed! Arrived at this place very early in the
morning way before designated check in time, the owner was
willing to let us check in and met us at the house. Upon
entering, we were met with a very well maintained, beautiful
house. The little details she had gone out of her way to
include in the house made our entire family wish we could
just move in and stay forever. The location is great, close
to the beach, a few pubs and the local grocery store. Is
near a bus line if you don't have a car, and well outside of
the hustle and bustle of Cairns. Which
you may or may not want to visit, considering the house
itself is private, fully furnished with internet, tv and
plenty of seating spaces outdoors to enjoy the Cairns
sunshine, (which we had very little of, but KNOW that if the
homeowner could have changed this, she would have!) I'd
recommend this to my friends and steer my enemies
elsewhere! All in all it was one of the highlights of our
six week visit in Australia.

Just to say how much Ann and I enjoyed
our stay at your house at Trinity Beach this month. It turned
out to be a perfect holiday, with good weather, great location
and superb accommodation! We made good use of the pool with
the temp being around 29 degrees each day. Bit of
a shock coming home to temperatures between 10 and 15 degrees!
